Position Overview
The Business Administrator is responsible for overseeing and managing financial activities, including bookkeeping, account reconciliations, monthly closings, and various other daily functions. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping, account reconciliations, small accounts payable, and basic financial analysis.
- Conduct monthly closings and prepare month-end reports.
- Manage HR policies and processes including employee onboarding and offboarding, employee records management, and recruitment.
- Oversee relationships with vendors and suppliers, including negotiating contracts and managing service agreements.
- Perform light bookkeeping, account reconciliations and basic financial analysis.
- Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field or related work experience
- 4 years of related work experience.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
- Knowledge of QuickBooks software.
- Highly process-oriented, with the ability to improve existing processes and develop new ones where needed

- This role requires a 3-day per week in-office presence.
- The office is located in midtown, close to Penn Station and the ABCD subway lines.
Salary : $65,000 - $90,000
