- Operate Clean-Out-of-Place (COP) systems and perform detailed disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of production equipment to meet sanitation standards.
- Follow established sanitation schedules to clean and sanitize facility infrastructure and production lines, documenting all activities in compliance with regulatory and company protocols.
- Accurately mix, apply, and document chemical usage, ensuring correct concentrations and applications for effective cleaning and sanitation.
- Conduct inspections and internal audits to verify sanitation effectiveness, ensuring all equipment meets microbial safety and cleanliness standards.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and food safety regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 years of related experience
- Ability to work in hot/cold and wet/dry environments.

Years of Related Experience: 2 years related experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitation chemicals with an understanding on how tosafely work with them; Basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers,decimals, and fractions); Strong reading skills to understand documents such as safety rules, operating andmaintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; Strong writing skills to record execution of sanitation duties andmanage paperwork; Strong verbal communication skills; Basic computer skills to allow for use of data input whereappropriate; Ability to operate steam and high pressure hoses; Ability to understand and to carry out direction andprocedures related to cleaning and sanitation; Ability to work in a team environment; Ability and willingness towork in various environmental conditions including hot, cold, wet, dry, and noisy environments; Ability to lead lowerlevel employees; Detail-oriented.
