Schwieters Companies is hiring a full-time experienced Hand Sander/Wood Enthusiast in our Prefinish Department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Correctly sand wood materials manually and with an electric sander
- Inspect all material for quality
- Stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
- Have constant communication with department lead on progress with work orders
- Work together with a team throughout the warehouse to achieve maximum efficiency with 100% complete and on-time deliveries
- Pick material using a stand/sit forklift as needed
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic finishing knowledge preferred
- Must follow company quality standards and have great attention to detail
- Comfortable learning to operate a sander and a forklift
- Candidate must have a good work history
- Able to lift 50 lbs. comfortably
- Self-motivated, self-directed team player and team builder
- Able to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions, have good communication skills (verbal and written), and be detail oriented
- Capable of standing for extended periods of time
- Flexible in working overtime when necessary

- Monday thru Friday, 6am-2:30pm, overtime as needed
