Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform air sampling services for asbestos, lead and mold abatement projects.
- Perform asbestos, lead-based paint, and mold inspections.
- Perform soil, groundwater, and soil vapor sampling activities.
- Ensure that all daily field records are complete and accurate.
- Occasionally attend project meetings as a representative of the field team.
- Assist as needed in the preparation of work plans, data evaluation and report preparation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor degree in related technical discipline (biology, geology, hydrology, soil science, ecology, earth science, or environmental science) or experience in the asbestos, environmental consulting, or construction industry.
- Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Must have reliable transportation and enjoy working outside.
- Must be available for out-of-town, overtime, evening, and weekend work as needed.
- Must possess the ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
