What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Specialist position at Scientific Protein Laboratories LLC?
Under minimum supervision this person will perform skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of machinery, buildings, and equipment. The position requires a highly skilled technician with a minimum of one of the following; ISA or equivalent, Certified Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Certified Control Systems Technician (level 2 CCST), Certified Instrumentation Technician, Certified HVAC/Refrigeration Technician or a Licensed Journeyman Electrician with 7 years industrial . Work involves proficiency in one of the following areas industrial instrumentation/controls, HVAC/ refrigeration systems or mechanical systems. Incumbent will exercise some technical independence in determining work methods and procedures in their particular skill area; receives assignments either orally or through written instructions, which may be accompanied by diagrams or sketches. Work is reviewed through inspection and discussion with superiors.
The schedule for this position is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
