DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead valuation analysis by building comprehensive financial models.
- Evaluate and model potential M&A transactions and other development opportunities.
- Prepare underwriting materials to achieve internal approvals to progress contemplated transactions.
- Manage execution and due diligence for M&A and other business development opportunities.
- Prepare presentation materials and analyses for Executive Management and Board of Directors meetings and other stakeholders.
- Research and apply critical thinking to industry trends, competitor dynamics and current events to provide relevant business insights.
- Recommend marketing strategies to enhance company productivity and help achieve long term strategic objectives.

Support negotiations of key contracts and agreements to ensure smooth transition for acquisition and operation integration.
REQUIRED QUALIFICIATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or Geoscience.
- 3-5 years of oil and gas industry financial experience.
- Strong preference of 2 years of investment banking and/or private equity experience.
- Skilled in creation of complex financial economic models.
- Independent thinker with superior problem-solving skillset.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong strategic instincts and ability to succeed in a high performing, ambiguous and agile working environment.
- Propensity to collaborate within a team and focus on continued improvement.
