Background Requirements
• 1–2 years of experience in benefits administration or human resources • Exposure to U.S. benefits administration including medical, dental, vision, life, and 401(k) • Experience assisting with open enrollment cycles • Familiarity with benefits vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators • Strong Excel skills and high attention to details Job Responsibilities • Assist with administration of employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), FSA/HSA, and wellness programs • Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and resolve issues with vendors and carriers • Support new hire onboarding and benefits enrollment • Assist with open enrollment preparation, communications, and system updates • Maintain accurate employee benefits data within HRIS systems • Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate benefit deductions and contributions • Support benefits audits, compliance documentation, and reporting (ACA, ERISA, COBRA) • Process life events, eligibility updates, and terminations • Assist with employee benefits communications and education materials • Partner with internal HR teams and external vendors to ensure smooth benefits operations • Support Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and objectives as required
