Brief Description
Scotlynn is seeking to fill our full-time Logistics Support Representative at our headquarters in Fort Myers, FL. This role provides support through coordinating and monitoring truckload transportation activities by communicating with carriers, suppliers, and vendors to ensure that loads are picked up and delivered on time.
This is a NIGHT SHIFT support/customer service position that has a set schedule we are looking to fill. Both shifts are working 5 days a week and weekends are required.
MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS.
Responsibilities Include:
- Handling high telephone call volumes in a courteous and efficient manner
- Scheduling and verifying pick-up and delivery appointments with shippers and receivers
- Working with carriers/drivers to monitor loading, unloading, and time-management of freight transit
- Identifying and solving existing and potential problems; involving the supervisor and contacting account manager to resolve problems as necessary
- Performing data entry; entering accurate notes and update fleet management system
- Performing miscellaneous clerical duties as needed and during low volume call periods

Pay is $16per hour with the opportunity to earn overtime pay and annual reviews.

- Strong interpersonal and telephone communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and seek out vital information
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Customer service experience in handling difficult clients and customers
- Ability to multi-task, maintain professionalism, and provide excellent customer service
- Detail oriented and excellent note taker
- Clean record and background
