Description:
- General laborer position to work on construction projects
- Pushes and pulls asphalt rake to level asphalt to fine grade specifications
- Uses sledgehammer to drive pins, uses pick and shovel to dig
- Hooks up trailers, fasten attachments to equipment
- Flagger duties, set up traffic control, places barrels, and cones
- Smooth freshly poured asphalt, shovels asphalt, or other materials
- Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management
- Opportunities for advancement within the paving crew and training on job equipment
Qualifications:
- Able to work outdoors in extreme conditions, such as cold, heat, and humidity
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
- Able to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision
- Ability to get along with others
- Positive customer-service-oriented attitude
- Class A CDL Preferred
- Must be able to pass MVR Check.
