Roles and Responsibilities
- Secure new service/maintenance customers by means of on-site visits, phone contact, tailored letters, cold calls, and leads list developed by service department referrals and installation projects
- Maintain contact with existing customers by means of on-site visits, phone contact, and tailored letters
- Conduct post-sale follow-up to ensure all sales agreements have been accomplished per company standards and that customers are fully satisfied
- Build & maintain a working relationship with all departments to ensure all the customer’s needs are met
- Maintain and improve sales skills via self-study, seminars, customer visits, etc.
- Perform sales-related duties as directed by the Sales Manager
- Maintain ongoing analysis of agreements sold to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability
- Price and bid all projects per the organization’s pricing plan and structure as directed by the Sales Manager
- Participate in monthly meetings (service sales, collections, service meetings, etc.)
- Forward equipment sales opportunities to the appropriate department within SCR for follow-up
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to sell to a wide range of commercial customers via in person and/or electronic communication
- Continuously display the following characteristics: self motivated, extroverted, tactful, organized, goal-oriented, and professional
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Drivers License
- At least 2 years sales experience or equivalent education
- Basic computer knowledge, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work remotely or independently as required
- Some overnight travel will be required
