Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using the Aloha POS system or other point-of-sale systems.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly to guests, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, providing solutions to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment.
- Upsell menu items when appropriate to enhance guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including knowledge of food handling practices.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a busy environment are essential for success in this role.
