Assistant Facility Manager

Our company is seeking a reliable and hard-working Assistant Facility Manager to join our team. We are a well-established, family-owned scrap metal recycling company with over 75 years of operation. As a valued team member, you will play a vital role in our daily operations.

Responsibilities include :

• Maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of our yard and shop
• Organizing and keeping the yard clean; including performing inspections and managing inventory of tools and materials
• Load, unload, and sort materials into designated areas within the warehouse
• Ensure all documentation related to materials and equipment is accurate and up to date
• Operate machinery, such as forklifts and skid loaders (Training is provided)
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Perform other manual labor tasks as needed
• Communication with customers and team members to ensure effective coordination of daily operations
