Join our highly skilled and engaged health plan team as Director, Provider Network Management, where you will bring your expertise, leadership, and excellence to all we do. As Director, Provider Network Management, you will manage vital functions for Scripps Health Plan Services, as we strive to enhance the provider experience. This is the ideal position for someone with exceptional provider data management and contracting experience at the plan/medical group/IPA level.
In this role, you will be responsible for the integrity and management of provider data within the EPIC system and producing that information in the form of provider directories to our plans. You will create and maintain a comprehensive contracted provider network to serve SHPS members as well as other provider networks SHPS manages. Be charged with overseeing provider relations functions including training, problem solving and satisfaction for all medical groups, IPAs, institutional and ancillary providers.
This team is also responsible for the onboarding process from contract to credentialing, including enrollment in our provider portal, our primary means of communication of transactions, and status lookups for claims, eligibility, and authorizations for our provider network.
This Director position is located in 4S - Rancho Bernardo.
