The candidate must be an experienced high energy self-starter who is well organized, articulate, pro-active and customer-centric, an independent thinker with decision-making and time management skills. Qualified candidates will have a valid CAM license, working knowledge of management practices, accounting procedures, and Association CC&Rs and Bylaws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Handles association business, action items, and homeowner requests received by telephone, in person, in writing, or via email.
  • Possesses strong customer service abilities: courteously answers calls and email correspondence.
  • Maintains association records, documents, and homeowner correspondence consistent with Florida statutes, and with relation to association business procedures and customer relations management system, AppFolio.
  • Composes correspondence and communication for association business. Keeps all records in good order and updated as needed. Makes electronic copies of correspondence and other printed materials.
  • Composes violation letters to residents, reports findings to the Board of Directors in accordance with established regulations, and prioritizes emergency repair requests.
  • Arranges conference calls, meetings, and regularly scheduled board meetings. Prepares agendas, and assures that the association secretary keeps and provides meeting minutes. Provides meeting packets to Board Members and owners as required. Handles annual members’ meeting via notices, proxies and agendas.
  • Maintains applicable information and provides updates to appropriate personnel/board members who utilize this information.
  • Coordinates outside contractors with homeowners and Board of Directors
  • Assist new home buyers and real estate professionals with copies of required documents to complete purchases.
  • Assist with architectural application process including interaction with homeowners, board members, and ARC committees. Prepare and organize responses to applications.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Four (4) year college degree
  • Minimum five (5) years CAM experience
  • Current active Florida CAM license
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Availability:

Regular business hours and after regular business hours, as necessary.

Work Environment:

The work environment is a typical office building and candidate will be on properties as required. Regular weekly office hours are expected.
