JOB DESCRIPTION
- We are looking for an experienced Audit Services Manager to provide technical audit support and oversight for daily and monthly internal and external audits, as well as Sarbanes-Oxley work with primary focus on Latin American affiliate operations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide oversight support for local auditors based in Latin American countries.
- Responsible for audit processes and oversight of customers' operations.
- Develop and refine programs with company audit software tools to audit various subsidiaries.
- Oversee international accounting standards.
- Prepare accounting information and design and implement administrative and accounting procedures, chart of accounts, and policies.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Requires Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Business Administration with concentration in Public Accounting, or related field), or foreign degree equivalent.
- 5 years of relevant work experience.
- 3 years of experience with application of foreign currency translation under SFAS 52.
- 3 years of experience with application of USGAAP standards to foreign based subsidiaries.
- 3 years of experience with filing requirements under Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) rules.
- 3 years of experience with audit requirements under Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
- 3 years of experience with audit requirements under Foreign Corrupt Practices Acts (FCPA).
- 2 years of auditing experience with a Big Four accounting firm or with a publicly traded corporation.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires international travel up to 25% of work schedule to company offices in the Dominican Republic, Argentina, and other subsidiaries and industries across Latin America.
