Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary : SEACORP's Imaging Business Area is currently seeking an experienced Technical Writer. The candidate expectations include writing and editing process documentation. Position requires working closely with Engineering Team to establish the needed technical data for the various projects using existing standards and guidelines.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in any field with 1 year of professional experience in technical writing/editing or an associate degree (or equivalent) and 10 years specifically related professional experience can be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Experience : 2 years of relevant experience and e xperience with Department of Defense with concentration with Navy Early Warning Programs a plus.

Location: Middletown, RI
Travel: None
Clearance: Secret
Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.

- Writing and editing technical reports, technical specification updates, and procedures for various programs.
- Research and analyze existing logistics products.
- Review existing data as appropriate and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, and content.

- Well versed in the software applications associated to Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat at minimum.
