Sealand Contractors Corp. is now accepting resumes for the position of a Project Manager in the greater Charlotte region. This position requires experience with heavy highway construction. A successful candidate must fulfill the following requirements to be considered for this position:
- Have experience estimating and managing NCDOT projects or municipal projects utilizing NCDOT standards.
- Must have the ability to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Must have experience supervising and estimating projects of more than $3 million.
- Must be familiar with all aspects of highway construction.
- Must be comfortable reading and understanding project plans and specifications.
- Must be comfortable attending project meetings and interacting with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Must be motivated, organized, dependable, and able to work well under pressure.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience with HCSS estimating software a plus.
- This is not an entry level position. It is anticipated to be a long-term position, with a competitive wage and benefit package based on experience and knowledge within the field.
