What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly position at Sealing Devices Inc.?
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
- Use templates and read measurements to position parts and sub-assemblies.
- Examining connections to assemble fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Supervisor.
- Complete administrative functions relating to business or regulatory requirements.
- Document production and quality forms.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Responsible to follow departmental procedures and work instructions as written.
- Any other task/activity assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the assembly department.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per the Sealing Devices Quality System.
Experience
Required- 1 - 2 years: Experience in assembly/manufacturing environment.
Education
Required- High School or better
Skills
Preferred- Oral communication
- Computer Skills
- Blueprint Reading
