Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Revenue and Finance, the Finance Manager will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of SeaView Community Services. The role specifically focuses on payroll processing and the accounting aspects of employee benefits. The Finance Manager will work closely with the Human Resources department to ensure accurate and timely administration of benefits. Additionally, the Finance Manager will undertake budget analysis projects, providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes. This role also involves supporting the Senior Director of Revenue & Finance and the CEO with special projects as assigned.
Essential Functions:

Payroll Processing: Oversee and manage the payroll processing system to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws.
Tax Compliance and Strategy: Oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. Develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
Employee Benefits Accounting: Handle the accounting functions related to employee benefits, including retirement plans, medical insurance, leave policies, and holiday pay. Work closely with Human Resources to ensure seamless integration of benefits administration and accounting.
Budget Analysis: Conduct thorough budget analysis projects, identifying trends, variances, and areas for financial improvement. Provide detailed reports and recommendations to aid in strategic planning and fiscal management.
Financial Reporting and Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Prepare financial reports and statements and assist in audits as required.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the Human Resources department and other relevant departments to align financial management with organizational objectives and employee needs.
Support to Senior Management: Provide direct support to the Senior Director of Revenue & Finance in various financial initiatives. Assist the CEO with special projects and assignments as needed.
Continuous Improvement: Continually assess and improve financial processes and systems for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a nonprofit organization.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
