Farm Technician SEA VIEW To be based in Little Falls, MN FARM
Sea View Farms is a commercial Potato Growing Operation located in Little Falls MN, producing a high-quality product for Cavendish Farms Inc, a leading frozen food producer in the USA.
We are currently sourcing for a Farm Technician (Full Time) for our Little Falls, MN operation.
Specific responsibilities for this role are :
General equipment operation : planters, harvest equipment, tractors, potato truck and water truck, irrigation equipment etc.
Operate all equipment in the safest way possible
Minimize equipment and machinery downtime through effective operation and maintenance.
Qualifications :
Demonstrated history of operational and mechanical ability through education and / or experience Background and passion for agriculture either through education and / or experience Demonstrated knowledge of equipment electrical and hydraulics
Capable of performing physical labour on a modern farming operation (lift 55bs frequently) Have a valid driver's license
Understand and willing to work extended hours due to seasonal nature of the business
Wage : $25 -$28 per hour depending on qualifications Benefits :
