Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading PPAP/validation efforts for new products.
  • Conducting FAIR and driving continuous improvements.
  • Implementing Advanced Product Quality Planning strategies.
  • Handling customer complaints and CAPAs effectively.
  • Performing rigorous internal and customer QMS audits.

Key Contributions

  • Work closely with senior engineers to enhance our Quality Management Systems across all facilities, ensuring compliance with evolving ISO standards.
  • Conduct and streamline internal audits aligning with ISO/NADCAP standards.
  • Advocate continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on process enhancements and quality management.
  • Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning, enhancing awareness on organizational product quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers to meet production transfer requirements for new products.
  • Mentor and develop quality inspection teams, ensuring adherence to QMS requirements.
  • Manage customer interactions on quality specifics, addressing PPAPs, complaint resolutions, and quality mandates.
  • Foster team development through guidance in inspection activities and quality assurance techniques.
  • Translate customer engineering specifications accurately into QMS protocols.

Success Traits

  • Background in Engineering/Technical fields, combined with significant quality assurance experience in manufacturing.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) credentials, preferably.
  • Proactive leader with motivational and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in communication, familiar with quality systems, and experienced in continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Expertise in QMS systems (e.g., ISO 13485, AS9100) and strategic analytical skills.
  • Willing to travel 20% across sites, holding a valid driving license.

Technological Proficiency

  • Competence in GD&T, APQP, and various ISO certifications.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing environments and injection molding practices.
  • Experience with PPAP processes, root cause analysis, and blueprint interpretation.

Tools We're Using

  • Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
  • Precision tools like Calipers and Micrometers
