What we're looking for: The Manager, FP&A is responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis support for Operations at Solesis, parent company of Secant Group, LLC. This position will have responsibility for supporting a growing business in two manufacturing locations: Telford, Pennsylvania and Winston Salem, North Carolina. Primary location is in Pennsylvania with travel to North Carolina as required. The position supports the Finance Director, partners with Sales and Operations and has high visibility with the Executive Team. In addition, the position will have the Director of Operations as a key business partner.

What you’ll do:
  • Own and manage Product Costing for the organization. This includes understanding and improving on costing methodology as well as partnering with Operations to drive efficiencies across the organization.
  • Responsible for monthly analysis and reporting package for Operations. Reviews and analyzes key metrics such as gross margins, production variances and Inventory balances/trends. Provides recommendations to management based on analysis.
  • Manage all Capital Expenditures supporting Operations. Develop business case and ROI analysis for new projects. Track execution against plan for major projects.
  • Partner with Finance to understand Sales projections by product and customer to ensure Operations can meet customer demand.
  • Responsible for managing all cost center budgets within Operations.
  • Influence decision making in the organization by providing insightful and meaningful data and information to the Leadership Team and Finance Director.
  • Ensure costing methodologies and processes are understood by all key business partners and proper procedures are being followed.
  • Leverage our ERP system for reporting and financial analysis.
  • Able to present information and analysis to the Executive team.
  • Complete ad hoc analysis as required by Finance Director.
  • Adhere to GMP/QSR requirements and follows applicable QMS documentation (e.g., SOP’s, Work Instructions) to successfully accomplish job requirements.
  • Follow Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies and procedures, including wearing hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves, eye protection as required.
  • Follow gowning procedures in designated areas.
  • Follow established safety requirements and adhere to the Health Safety and Environment Management System.
  • Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned.

Who you are:
  • Accounting or Finance Bachelor’s degree. MBA preferred, but not required.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Finance with emphasis on significant Business partnering activities.
  • Experience supporting Operations and with Product Costing preferred.
  • Experience in medical device industry preferred, but not required.
  • Superior computer skills, with emphasis on advance Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • A willingness and capability to understand the medical device marketplace as well as learn our internal technologies that support our growth.
  • Individual must have positive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, Deacom and Syspro preferred, but not required.  Implementation experience is beneficial.
  • The ability to communicate through both excellent written and presentation skills.

This position includes a compensation package that includes a base salary plus an incentive-based on company performance.
