What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) position at Secure Technologies Group Inc?
As a SecureTech ISSE , supporting the nation's Intelligence Community -
You can design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
You can perform system or network designs that encompass multiple enclaves, to include those with differing data protection / classification requirements.
You will ensure that the architecture and design of Information systems are functional and secure.
You support the building of security architectures. You help enforce the design and implementation of trusted relations among external systems and architectures. You assess and mitigate system security threats / risks throughout a program's life cycle.
You build IA into systems deployed to operational environments. You assist architects and systems developers in the identification and implementation of appropriate secure functionality to ensure uniform application of our customer's security policy and enterprise solutions.
To get started in this exciting opportunity, you need a TS / SCI clearance with at least a CI polygraph. A minimum of :
- Eight (8) years of security engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related field. (An additional four (4) years of ISSE experience can be substituted for the degree!)
- Certification at DoD 8570 IASAE Level 2 or better (CASP CE, CISSP, or CSSLP).
- Senior level positions require a MS degree and IASAE Level 3 certification.
