Security Benefit is searching for an Internal Sales Consultant with proven experience to join our Independent Marketing Organization (IMO) team. This position will work in our home office in Topeka, Kansas. SB associates are working in a hybrid environment with both remote and on-site work. Who Are We? Security Benefit fosters strong partnerships to provide insightful and customized retirement solutions for employers and individual investors nationwide. Through a broad advisor network and its nationally recognized money managers, Security Benefit provides mutual funds, annuities, and retirement programs. What Does the Job Look Like? Responsibilities include providing business development support and management for our partner IMOs and other direct relationships as well as providing support for the Sales team overall. Specifically, the ISC primarily provides reactive inbound sales support to IMOs and their financial professionals.  You will utilize market, industry, and product knowledge to promote Security Benefit’s products and services.  Duties and Responsibilities: Provide daily support to our IMO partners by answering calls and emails in an accurate and timely manner. Build and maintain relationships with our distribution partners. Develop broad understanding of all Security Benefit products, services, policies and procedures, becoming the subject matter expert. Conduct proactive marketing calls focusing on all levels of sales (acquisition, development and retention). Convey sales ideas and disseminate accurate product information and messaging. Listen, probe, uncover and analyze needs and recognize potential sales/service opportunities. Deliver effective presentations and occasionally travel promoting Security Benefit products. Take ownership and resolve problems by gathering, analyzing, pursuing appropriate course of action, and following up when necessary. Efficient utilization of internal and technical resources as well as desktop technology.  Who Are You?
