Description
The Compliance Analyst assists in implementation and maintenance of SFB’s Compliance Program to ensure conformity and adherence with all applicable federal and state banking laws and regulations, with emphasis on consumer lending related regulations covering all aspects of consumer loans.
Requirements
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
- Conducts periodic monitoring for compliance using independent judgement to analyze documents;
- Prepares reporting of compliance monitoring results for management/committee presentation and follows-up to ensure ‘root cause’ issues are resolved;
- Assist in coordination & support of compliance audits & examinations;
- Assist in procedure implementation to comply with new regulations or changes to existing regulations;
- Assist other compliance personnel as needed;
- Acts as compliance resource for all SFB personnel;
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Experience:
- College degree or work experience equivalent (previous bank or related experience preferred; consumer lending experience a plus)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, organization and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Products
