Summary of Position:
The Agency Resources Support Specialist facilitates positive agent and agency relationships by providing assistance in contracting, credentialing, setup, use of company systems, and reporting of information upon request. The Support Specialist provides support to Territory Managers, Agents, and other business units as needed and completes project work as assigned by the Director of Sales.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist in contracting, changing, and terminating agents appointed with SFIC and SFM.
- Maintain online records of all agency and agent paperwork, completing audits as assigned.
- Process monthly system clean-up reports or projects provided by Corporate Analytics or other business units.
- Answers incoming calls and assists agents with questions or processes as relates to their book of business, credentialing, or commissions.
- Tracks and maintains agent’s appointment with DFS.
- Create and maintain effective working rapports with agents and all departments internally.
- Perform work in a manner that reflects high quality and commitment to supporting internal and external relationships.
- Assist team with individual projects as assigned, to include research, recording, and reporting of results.
- Keep current on industry related topics and market conditions; make timely recommendations and decisions.
- Maintain adherence to department guidelines, procedures, and standards.
Department Specific/Non-Essential Functions:

Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Prior data entry, administrative, or insurance related experience preferred.
- PC Literate with a firm understanding of Microsoft Office Programs and web searches.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Comfortable working with data from various system sources.
- Flexible, creative, and challenged by change.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Highly motivated, positive attitude and assertive. Possess a high energy level, strong work ethic and strive to exceed expectations.
