What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unarmed Security Officer position at Security?
We are seeking Unarmed Security Officers in in the Richmond/Petersburg area to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons. Below are the open positions we are currently hiring for:
Richmond, VA:
Position 1: Monday - Wednesday: 8:30am to 7:30pm, Thursday 8:30am to 1:30pm (38 hours/week - $18/hr)
Position 2: Thursday 1:30pm to 7:30pm, Friday - Saturday: 8:30am to 7:30pm, Sunday 8:30am to 5:30pm (37 hours/week - $18/hr)
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail'
