See Em Play, Inc. in Dallas, TX is looking for one EVENT PLANNER to join our team. We are located in East Dallas in a major shopping center (Casa Linda). Our ideal candidate is comfortable working around children and their parents, has a great cheerful attitude, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
- Understand party packages and clearly articulate them to guests
- Book parties and work out any scheduling conflicts
- Setup party rooms, including decorations, furniture arrangement, and special requests
- Ensure parties are properly staffed
- Train party hosts to make decorations, balloon twisting, face painting
- Review party themes and identify new trends (i.e. Paw Patrol is out, Bluey is in)
- Communicate with guests, making them comfortable throughout the party process from booking though the party itself
- Engage with community on social media to promote birthday parties and special events
- Ensure that party rooms and decoration stock is neat and organized
- Supervise staff during daily operation
- Support events such as birthday parties, seasonal/holiday activities, and private events
- Over-all Event Planning Department management
Qualifications
- Professional experience supervising a team greatly preferred
- Event coordinator, hotel/hospitality, or equivalent project management/party planning experience
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, schedule, and delegate tasks, ensuring completion
- Must have Texas Food Safety Manager certification or obtain within one week of employment
- Must be able to comfortably navigate through children's soft-play structure, which includes climbing, crawling, and low ceilings
- Reliable transportation to work
- Bilingual Spanish required

- Ensures attendance in accordance with the work schedule
- Acts in line with Health, Safety & Fire procedures and best practices
- Adheres to the applicable company policies and procedures
- Adheres & follows Standard Operation Procedure as set by See Em Play, Inc.
