As a Ticket Sales Representative, you will be the face of our company, handing out flyers and providing information to potential customers at our booth next to the VR station.
This position is ideal for students living in Boston who are seeking a paid resume building and networking opportunity, but we welcome applicants of all backgrounds.
We will train you in both the history and the sales pitch. Above all else, we are looking for someone responsible, friendly, and excited!
Responsibilities
- Hand out flyers to passersby, engaging them with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Provide detailed information about our AR experience and answer any questions
- Be a resource of information for travelers in Boston (e.g. providing directions, popular sites to visit)
- Assist in maintaining the booth, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming
- Promote a positive and energetic atmosphere, encouraging visitors to try our AR tours
Skills
- Friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse groups of people
- Passion for history and interest in VR technology is a plus
- Ability to stand for 4 hours at a time
- Reliable and punctual
- Experience in sales or a related field (preferred, but not required)
Schedule
- Part-time, seasonal position (August - October currently available)
- 4-hour shifts available Thursday through Sunday
