Position – Tool Sharpener
Job Location – New Berlin, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday
Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $20-$21 per hour

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – At least 3 years of experience with surface grinding (general machining practices)
Responsibilities
-Operate surface grinders with a high level of proficiency and safety
-Use production schedules to ensure tooling is ready for production runs
-Sharpen and maintain press tooling and set up dies and the specific layout holding exact tolerances
-Work from drawings in any combination of metric or English dimensions
-Calculate and confirm the tool conditions set for each job.
Qualifications
-HS Diploma/GED required
-At least 3 years of experience with surface grinding (general machining practices)
-Experience with tape measure, calipers, micrometers, blueprints, and other power tools
-Safety focused and has exceptional attention to detail
