What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Segrera Associates?
Overall:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for the timely and accurate accounting.
Specific Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Take ownership of the full corporate accounting cycle:
- Monitor bank accounts and record activity daily.
- Make bank deposits as needed.
- Prepare and initiate wires as needed.
- Reconcile bank accounts.
- Prepare and upload journal entries for all entities in consolidation.
- Record subsidiary financial activity for consolidation.
- Review monthly consolidation for accuracy.
- Prepare detailed workpapers, including financial statement support schedules.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet, P&L, and close workpapers for review.
- Assist with variance analysis as needed.
- Understand complex expense allocations between the various company subsidiaries.
- Review invoice coding and support for corporate expenditures.
- Work with the Director of Financial Reporting on the preparation of tax deliverables for the Partners.
- Expected to be an integral part of improving processes and the use of technology.
- Other ad-hoc projects as needed.
Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
