Segue Inc. is in search of a dedicated Registered Nurse, available for either full-time or part-time work, who is genuinely passionate about contributing to the well-being of our clients coping with severe mental illness. As a key contributor to the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program, the Registered Nurse plays an essential role.
Within the ACT framework, our Registered Nurses collaborate with adults with severe mental illness backgrounds. These individuals might be facing the potential for inpatient psychiatric hospitalization or requiring intensive psychiatric services. However, with the steadfast support of the ACT team, they can effectively continue living within their communities while receiving the necessary care and assistance.
Flexible Work Schedule
Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. You can decide how many days a week you would like to work!
This is a great position for those beginning their careers in mental health and for those who are semi-retired - not quite ready to stop working altogether.!

What You Will Do
• Our dedicated team of Registered Nurses provides crucial services that play a pivotal role in aiding individuals to maintain their functionality within the community.
• Your commitment ensures meticulous adherence to all prescribed guidelines during medication distribution, following the directives provided by physicians.
• Accurate maintenance of clients' medication records, coupled with vigilant monitoring for potential adverse reactions, forms a vital aspect of your responsibilities.
• Coordinating periodic medication assessments with physicians and conducting nursing-led medication evaluations when necessary are integral to your role.
• Whether at our facility, in their residences, or within the community, your devoted service will greatly benefit our clients.
• Regular meetings with the ACT team of professionals are conducted to collaboratively discuss treatment options for the consumers under our care.
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan to qualify as a QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional).
- Knowledge and understanding of co-occurring disorders (mental health and substance abuse)
- Ability to travel within the county and provide valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
