Job Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:
- Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Receive, store and distribute materials, equipment, and products within assigned area.
- May sweep floors, clean dock area, general cleaning of entire work area.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or move orders to packing station or shipping department.
- Open bales, crates and other containers.
- May operate manual hand tools, including handheld scanners
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace. Comply with instructions given for their own safety and health and that of others, in adhering to safe work procedures. Co-operate with management in its fulfilment of its legislative obligations.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Capable of basic data entry and familiarity with handheld computer devices.
- Perform simple math (add, subtract, multiple, and divide).
- Ability to function within a team environment with changing priorities and workflows.
- Comply with SEKO work policies and procedures.
- Reliable, good work ethic.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
