Selectek has an exciting opportunity for a Project Design Engineer. This role will utilize Inventor to create fabrication drawings for industrial equipment. The role will work closely with the manufacturers to ensure all standards and quality are met during the manufacturing process. In addition, this role will assist with the installation and training for the equipment at the end clients job sites as needed.The Project Design Engineer is responsible for using Inventor to produce detailed drawings for steel fabricators, steel erectors, and other clients. The job duties include developing thorough plans that include drawings, BOMs, and other design documents. These documents are then used by fabricators and builders in their construction and / or installation process.Job Responsibilities / Description : Creates general arrangement drawingsCreates detailed manufacturing drawings from general arrangement drawingsCreates material bill of materialsCommunicate directly with manufacturing to maintain project timelineResponsible for other tasks as assignedRequired : BSME or BSMET degree5 years of project and design experience for industrial or wastewater treatment equipment.Experience creating fabrication drawings and working with manufacturers to ensure equipment is created successfully.Inventor proficiencyStrong communication skillsPreferred : ISO 9000 experience or certificationsExperience creating drawings for actuatorsNeed an engineer used to working with Industrial or Wastewater equipment design and releasing to a fabrication team.
