JANITOR CUSTODIAN (PART-TIME)

As a Janitor Custodian, you will be responsible for keeping the facility clean and in orderly condition. Other duties may include performing recycling activities, notifying management for repairs, etc.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Clean facility floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming (daily)
- Gather and empty trash containers (daily)
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms and kitchen areas (daily)
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees (daily)
- Dust and wipe down furniture, walls, common areas (daily)
- Maintain and water plants within the office (weekly)
- Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed
- Notify management about any concerns needing repair
- Manage inventory of bathroom & kitchen supplies/equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
Your Skillset
- High motivation and work attitude
- High attention to detail and high demand towards cleanliness and tidiness
- Ability to perform occasional tasks (i.e. outside areas)
- Basic reading skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
- Team player with a motivated attitude
- Fulfill physical requirements of the position including walking, standing, stooping and climbing
- Able to lift a maximum of 40 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience is a plus
