Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor patients' health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Assist with memory care for clients experiencing cognitive challenges.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the home setting.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records of client progress.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home health care, long-term care, or group home settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and memory care practices is advantageous.
- Certification in CPR is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with clients on a personal level.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
