Responsibilities

Our Professional Caregivers and Home Health Aides are responsible for providing hands-on, non-medical quality care to the clients of Senior Solutions. The Caregiver (Home Health Aide) provides care based on the customized plan of care for their clients which includes but is not limited to:

  • Personal care assistance
  • Exercise and mobility
  • Medication reminders
  • Record keeping
  • Meal & snack preparation
  • Laundry
  • Grocery shopping
  • Respite care
  • Light housekeeping
  • Companionship
  • Conversation
  • Accompany to appointments

Available Shifts & Scheduling

We are currently hiring Caregivers or Home Health Aides for a variety of shifts within Hardin county. Our shift times are based on our clients needs so we have many different shifts available allowing for flexibility in your schedule. You are not required to work a minimum number of hours a week. So, whether you want to work 20 hours a week or 40 hours per week, that is entirely up to you. We try to find a client that matches your wants and needs for you to work ongoing, but we also send out all of our available fill-in shifts (by text/email). If you want additional hours then you would just reach out to us and let us know which shifts you are interested in.

Pay

Our pay ranges from $10-$16 per hour. Pay varies based on the type of shifts worked and your employment status. Part time positions range between $10 to $15 per hour. Full time positions range between $11 to $16 per hour. There is also a $1 per hour increase for active Certified Nursing Assistants.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 20 - 30 lbs
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to accept personal responsibility for the maintenance of a professional relationship with the client in accordance with Senior Solutions policies and standards
  • Possess a valid driver’s license or state ID
  • Possess a valid second form of ID
  • Possess a smartphone (for clocking in/out through mobile apps)
  • Direct deposit (we can help you with a free account if needed!)
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to complete background check & drug testing per company standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms

  • A strong commitment to reliability & ethical behavior
