What we look for in a caregiver:
· Mature and compassionate individuals to assist seniors in the community. Most of our caregivers are 50 years of age or older.
· Can relate to the aging process, helping those we serve navigate the challenges that growing older can bring
· Willing to share life stories, interests, and hobbies with a senior companion
Responsibilities:
· Companionship and socialization
· Personal care including dressing, feeding, and bathing
· Meal preparation and shopping
· Light housekeeping
· Medication reminders
· Transportation to doctor’s appointments, events and outings
· Assistance with dementia and Alzheimer’s care
Requirements:
· Be registered as a home care aide (HCA). We help with registration if you are not currently a HCA
· Pass a background check
· Completion of a negative TB test
· Possess California driver’s license, vehicle, and auto insurance
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour
