Summary:
We
are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Shipping, Receiving & Material
Handling Associate for the Distribution team at our Subzero Engineering facility
in Salt Lake City, UT. The successful candidate will be organized,
self-motivated, have an entrepreneurial spirit, have excellent time management
skills, and be a team player with the ability to read invoices, packing slips
and bills of lading. The team members in this role have great communication
skills. This role will include but is not limited to, improving inventory
accuracy, timely receiving of materials, and shipping of orders according to scheduled
delivery dates. Performance and productivity are key elements to this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Unload packages, crates, pallets, and all other deliveries from incoming trucks and verify the accuracy of each order.
- Ensure the product is undamaged and entered into the company ERP system (INFOR).
- Do not receive (Sign for) material unless it is accurate and there is no damage. Inform supervisor if there is damage or the count is off.
- Maintain proper inventory levels by completing cycle counts on a regular basis and putting stock in the correct location.
- Prepare finished product for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing all product contents.
- This includes verifying products with work travelers and other documentation.
- Track and document all shipments by recording units shipped and maintaining material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making repairs when needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines set forth by the company.
- Follow all company policies in accordance with the employee handbook and safety manual.
- Learn building materials and all jargon to ensure future growth and knowledge.
- Guarantee that all job tracking procedures are followed.
Required Experience:
- Six (6) months minimum experience as a receiving clerk, material handler, or similar position within a manufacturing/warehouse environment; 1 to 2 years preferred.
- Experience with inventory control or inventory management.
- Experience with ERP Systems for inventory control; preference given to those with INFOR experience.
- Organized, deadline-oriented, able to lift 75 lbs. regularly.
- Experience operating forklifts: Forklift operators need to be certified by a company trainer before operating.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
- Ability to read and understand all paperwork in English.
- Must have good math skills and be able to work with software and computers.

Physical Requirements:
The work environment is in a manufacturing facility where frequent interruptions, distractions, and moderate levels of noise occur. This position requires each person on the shop/warehouse floor to wear safety glasses (Provided), Safety shoes (Steel or composite toe) and other personal protective equipment based on the specific jobs and areas on the plant floor. This position requires the ability to lift 75 lbs. regularly; This includes, but is not limited to delivery boxes, parts, or other product items.
Salary : $70,000 - $110,000
