Responsibilities.
Greet and Seat Guests:
- Welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Assist in seating guests and providing menus.
Take and Deliver Orders:
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests.
- Enter orders into the point-of-sale system promptly.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner.
Product Knowledge:
- Have a thorough understanding of the menu, including specials and promotions.
- Answer guest questions regarding menu items and provide recommendations.
Upselling:
- Suggest additional items, appetizers, or beverages to enhance the guest experience.
- Promote promotions and top sell items
Customer Service:
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a positive and engaging attitude, creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to provide seamless service.
Maintenance:
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, and dining areas.
- Reset tables efficiently for the next guests.
Payment Handling:
- Process guest payments accurately.
- Handle cash and electronic transactions responsibly.
Compliance:
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Follow restaurant policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- POS acknowledge preferred and cash handling skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
