Position Responsibilities
Payroll
- Handle weekly and semi-monthly payroll processing for U.S. based entities using Ceridian (Dayforce)
- Modify and generate reports, and manager payroll inquiries
- Manage fringe benefits and labor accruals
- Severance reconciliation
- Set up and process wire payments
- Handle daily bank transactions, reconciliations, and month-end entries
- Manage cash journal entries and print checks
- Assist with 401(k) audit
- Calculate and files non-income based taxes; including the Washington Excise Tax and Philadelphia Tax
- Overhead allocation, inventory adjustments, and various journal entries
- Real estate, property tax entries
- Scrap and rework accounting, and annual roll-forward entries
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in payroll accounting or finance
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and accounting principles
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g. ADP, Ceridian, Paycom) and accounting software (e.g. Oracle, SAP)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive payroll information
