Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA, is currently hiring a Full Time, Day Shift Echocardiographer for the Noninvasive Lab!

Job Description:
Performs two dimensional echocardiograms, Doppler echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities for the evaluation of heart disease and blood flow abnormalities
Completes the technologist report in the structured report application
Hours:
Monday – Friday: 7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm, along with call and working every 5th week - off Friday prior to weekend call, but work Sat and Sun 8a-12pm, on call from 12p-8am, and then on call Sunday from 12pm-6am.
Job Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (Associate's or Bachelor's in Cardiovascular Technology) OR a High School Diploma along with significant experience will be considered in lieu of education, in accordance with IAC Guidelines.
License/Certification: Adult echocardiography registry (RCCS, RCS or RDCS) within 12 months of hire.
Preferred Experience: 1 year experience in Echocardiography.
