Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Leasing Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail. As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a key role in attracting and retaining tenants for our properties.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours for potential tenants and highlight the features and amenities
- Assist prospective tenants with the leasing process from application to lease signing
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding available units
- Maintain accurate records of prospective and current tenants
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, conducting unit inspections as needed
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track leads and follow-ups
- Negotiate lease terms and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately
Experience:
- Previous experience in property leasing or related field preferred
- Familiarity with data entry, administrative tasks, and office procedures
- Knowledge of leasing laws, contracts, and regulations
- Experience with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) properties is a plus
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to negotiate effectively and build positive relationships with tenants
