About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to join our growing team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial and industrial construction as well as remodels.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including ductwork, air handlers, compressors, and thermostats
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems in HVAC systems
- Follow HVAC inspection checklists and installation procedures
- Address customer concerns and provide recommendations for system improvements
- Follow occupational health and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation of work orders, time spent, and materials used
- Organize and track inventory to limit supply losses
- Clean HVAC components such as blowers, coils, filters, and grills
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in a certified plumbing apprenticeship program
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a construction or HVAC-related field.
- Familiarity with HVAC codes and regulations.
