What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jobsite Maintenance Laborer position at Sentry?
Jobsite maintenance laborer:
The primary role and responsibility of this position is to ensure our construction sites are kept clean, safe and organized. Under the guidance of the site superintendent, you will use basic tools and equipment to perform tasks needed to maintain top tier construction sites.
Requirements:
-Driver's license
-Pass Drug test
-Authorized to work in the United States
-Basic tools use, Drill, Saw, Shovel, Hammer ETC...
-Basic equipment knowledge, Skid steer, Telehandler.
Ability to perform light construction (Minimal framing etc.)
-Ability to lift 50 pounds multiple times a day
-Ability to be on your feet 90% of the day
Location:
This position is nomadic in nature we have construction sites within a 100-mile radius of our main office in Watertown SD. Only daily travel is expected, no overnight or out of town work. When travelling more then 60 miles travel time is paid 1 way.
Example of daily tasks:
-Picking up trash and scrap materials on site
-Organize pallets and materials on site
-Unload trucks and materials as they arrive
-General maintenance of equipment
-Any other tasks directed by the site superintendent
