Your role at Sephora:
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will be an advisor and thought-partner to executives and leaders to elevate people strategies. You will provide leadership and partnership to management and employees to deliver a spectrum of strategic and tactical HR support and programs, which are aligned with Sephora’s financial and talent goals. Reporting to the Senior Director, HR Business Partner, you will take ownership and accountability for key business departments and provide recommendations to guide decision-making decisions related to compensation, organizational structures, retention and other employee related activities.  In addition, you will: 

• Drive change through data-based insights and influence. Serve as change champion in support of HR/Talent initiatives and functional strategy.
• Design organization structures that are efficient and built to address company’s business strategies including D&I
• Orchestrate and facilitate client group and executive programs, including assimilations, action-planning, succession planning/talent reviews, career conversations and employee development.
• Coach leadership and employees on policy and procedure, conflict resolution and change management to promote fair and equitable work environment
• Deploy appropriate tools to develop and engage leaders, building diverse bench, identify 360 assessment & executive coaching needs; assess training needs for teams and leadership development.
• Evaluate and provides input on rewards and recognition with cross-functional partners: educate clients on compensation practices and partner with culture and benefits teams to ensure competitive packages.
• Lead and contribute to company and HR initiatives with stakeholders throughout the company
• May manage a direct report

We’re excited about you if you have:

• 8-12 years’ of experience in an HR Business Partner oriented role; experience in retail a plus.
• In depth knowledge of industry practices & standards, as well as forward thinking opportunities
• Demonstrated ability to listen and influence senior executives
• Experience working in a collaborative environment; high level of follow through and accountability.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; proactive communicator able to influence and encourage innovation
• Resilient and adapts quickly to changing factors
• Strong problem-solver with the ability to handle sensitive/confidential information.

The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000.00 - $165,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.  Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.  Sephora offers a generous benefits package to full-time employees, which includes comprehensive health, dental and vision plans; a superior 401(k) plan, various paid time off programs; employee discount/perks; life insurance; disability insurance; flexible spending accounts; and an employee referral bonus program.
