Role Overview
- Own the full product development lifecycle, from design and architecture to deployment and iteration
- Build scalable backend systems, distributed services, APIs, and data pipelines
- Integrate with EMRs and third-party APIs while maintaining full compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate directly with clinicians and customers to gather feedback and iterate quickly
- Contribute to core product areas such as voice scribe, medical coding, or accounts receivable and billing
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of relevant software engineering experience with strong backend expertise (APIs, distributed services, and data pipelines)
- Proven success building and shipping provider-facing products, ideally in early-stage healthcare startup settings
- Previous experience as a lead engineer or team lead is a strong plus
- Strong product sense with the ability to define and track success metrics such as KPIs and OKRs
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field from a top-tier university
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineers, clinical staff, and product leaders
