As a Quality Manager, the primary role is to ensure the company products meet stringent quality standards by applying practices from Seren’s Quality Management System

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures products and services meet established standards of quality and efficiency. This includes overseeing quality assurance and control processes
  • Key leader in team-based approach that focuses on finding the root cause of issues and implementing permanent corrective actions. Generate required documentation (A3/8D forms) for customers
  • Develops compliance plans by researching, analyzing, selecting, and applying compliance engineering concepts, approaches, techniques, and criteria
  • Understands and initiates the process steps of a Product Quality Plan.
  • Performing regular quality control audits to ensure both supplier and internal manufacturing processes continue to work in compliance with company standards.
  • Identify areas of improvement within the production and/or test process.
  • Maintaining detailed reports on supplier quality, including defect rates, FAI specification and requirements.
  • Research and provide technical advice and guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates.
  • Serving as a liaison between our company's senior management and the vendors to identify quality issues and come up with solutions.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, ASQC certification, a Process Engineer with strong focus on quality or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent statistical analysis and quality assurance skills. Excel, Word and Power Point
  • In-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of manufacturing and engineering.
  • Good working knowledge of quality control standards.
  • Experience with manufacturing and production processes and engineering principles.
  • Ability to read and comprehend work instructions written in English.
