Optima Medical Management Group is seeking an HR Generalist to join our HR team.
Under the general supervision of the HR Performance Management & Quality and Compliance Director, The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including onboarding requirements for corporate staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave tasks, and enforcing company policies and practices.

HR Generalist Responsibilities
Owns the onboarding process for corporate staff, ensuring compliance with all required documents and identification.
Coordinates onboarding requirements with Talent Acquisition
Entering new hires' information on ADP and following up on the onboarding process
Processing payroll, checking timecards, and calculating manual checks
Review and audit all I-9s for completion and verify acceptable identity documents
Create and manage confidential employee files
Administers and publishes audits to HR Leadership to report compliance with onboarding requirements
Maintains resources for and leads new hire orientation sessions.
Assigns compliance training modules, including Sexual Harassment training, and creates adoption reports
Responsible for entering and maintaining accurate data in the HRIS system (ADP Total Source)
Provides coaching and guidance on benefits, workers’ compensation, general HR employment law, etc. to assist employees and managers.
Takes an active role in performance management and use of corrective actions to address job performance and other behavioral issues
Utilize HR best practices to coach and guide office employees in appropriate communication and development of a positive employee relations environment.
Supports and documents incoming office concerns and complaints for tracking and reporting to management; identify trends and offer suggestions for training or other interventions to reduce concerns and complaints.
Advises and assists managers, supervisors, and employees on all aspects of staff human resources employment issues.
Serving as a contact for employees to enquire about HR policies/programs, assist in resolving issues, navigating dynamics, and driving career growth
Understanding and displaying good judgment regarding the overall business, applicable laws, and policies, internal and external culture, and the agency’s vision, mission, and value
Education And Certification
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business administration, or related field required.
Knowledge and Experience
3-5 years of progressive HR Experience.
Knowledge of a human resources management system (HRMS), and/or other related business software programs and systems preferably ADP Total Source Experience
Must be experienced in data analytics and research techniques to supply the most accurate information, reports, and recommendations.
Experience and skills with common business software including Microsoft Office applications and Google Workspace tools, email, and calendaring software applications Knowledge of state and federal governmental regulatory standards related to employment law.
Ability to use data processing software and relational database systems to process a full range of personnel actions (recruitment, timekeeping auditing, merit increases, funding changes, etc.), with a willingness and ability to update and increase skills and knowledge as needed
