Donation Station Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to work Tuesday - Saturday
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma
• Experience and knowledge of retail sales
• Demonstrate maturity and good judgment
• Professionalism and public appeal
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable, strong morals and work ethic
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team structure
• Ability to relate empathetically to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs. and more furniture as needed.

Duties Include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee everyday Donation Station operations
• Work closely with the Retail Manager on stocking needs, trend, special sale, events, etc.
• Management and training of volunteer scheduling
• Assigning and modifying volunteer schedules as needed.
• Monitor inventory, sorting activities, steaming, pricing inventory
• Responsible for layout to assure smooth operation
• Responsible for organizing and staffing monthly overstock sale and daily sales of items through the donation center
• Maintain records of volunteer hours, donations received, client vouchers, and merchandise delivered to shelter for shelter use and report to the Executive Director monthly.
• Hold meetings of Donation Station volunteers for idea exchanges and motivation
• Arrange for donation pickup as needed
• Work with shelter manager to meet Shelter and Client needs
• Maintain the Donation Station Facebook account
• Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Salary: $18,720.00 - $20,800.00 per year
